dj bigdirty's: night club musical
JOIN The Night Club Musical Facebook Page at http://www.facebook.com/nightclubmusical This is my monthly Vocal Trance/Progressive House series with some surprises thrown in once in a while. I like to keep my mixes listener friendly, therefore I use a lot of vocal tracks. I am a current resident DJ at Trinity in the heart of Boston where you can catch me every other Saturday night at 63 Chatham St, Boston, Ma where I play a mixture of genres. I've also had residencies in the San Fran Bay area in the late 90's. I love the ethereal sound of trance music. I try to infuse a lot of this in my mixes while still managing to have massive floor fillers/peak time tracks being a part of the mix also. I'm heavily influenced by Andy Moor, Myon & Shane 54, Above & Beyond, Tydi, Max Graham, Kaskade, Armin Van Buuren, the Cocteau Twins and the old school 4AD record label. I'll play/mix any style of music, but I prefer trance, vocal trance, prog-house, trip hop and chillout. Basically I just love music and putting it all together for that 80 minute rush. Every mix I make I hope it tells a story or I have a story about it. My high is a crowded dancefloor, happy faces or you smiling while listening to the mix. Finally this series is about quality Trance tracks that have been released over the past month not quantity. You will rarely hear the same track that has been used previously before. To all of you that have been downloading for the past 2 years, I sincerely thank you for coming in to share my journey. You are my motivation throughout each month. Right before I drop that lead track I think of all you being there in front of me waiting for that first beat. Thank you so much for listening!
dj bigdirty: back to me (10-14-2008)

Happy fall everyone. This past summer was Africa Hot but now it’s a downright frigid 62 degrees in AZ so I guess I’ll give you a little something to warm ya up. In my typical fashion I start out with 3 head grooving (lounge) tunes before we get to dancefloor. Then one of my favorite tracks “So Much More” pushes in. My former fellow DJ partner from Boston, DJ Anthony Webster puts his spin on DJ Ruslan’s track with his very own remix. That one is slammin. Make sure you check out “Fake Snake”. It’s probably the most in your face tune released this year. It will make you say DAMN! Also Ida Corr… mmm mmm mmm (you’ll see)! Also picture yourself on PCH-1 in Cali for the final tune. I added a couple of classics on here. PVD is coming to AZ at the end of the month so why not put his classic “Vega” in the mix? The other classic is the beautiful “Dark Sweet Piano”. Reminds me of driving home from Boston on Interstate 93 after a gig. The mix title speaks for itself. It’s time I got back to me and just let loose. So someone get me a drink, it’s get buttwild time! As always play this loud (the only way to enjoy this type of music). There’s a little something for everyone on here. Thanks for the great responses on Liquid Sugar 08.
